All the detailed stats come from your charting of the match. This is how to record Service winners and Service return winners:

To record a serve that forces an error :
- tap on 1st Serve In or 2nd Serve In
- tap on the Winner icon of the server
- tap on Service winner on the top right hand corner of the screen
- choose if the service winner was Wide, at the Body, or down the T

To record a service return winner:
- tap on 1st Serve In or 2nd Serve In
- tap on the Winner icon of the receiver
- tap on Return winner on the top right hand corner of the screen
- choose if the service return was from a Forehand or a Backhand

You created the best one in itunes, for doing this job. But you should offer another type of game "format". You offer just a third set or fith set (with or withou tiebreaks), but i am a tennis teatcher and would like to use this with my young students, as their matches are simple ones, they sometimes play just one set, and sometimes they play just tiebreaks (so, you could offer in the software matchs as e a "1 set match" - with or withou ties, and offer too a just "tie-break match", and a just "super-tiebrake match" - like you star that counting 1, 2, 3... until 7 or 10 points). I think its a simple update you can do and, If you really do that, the program will be much more useful, for many tennis teatchers that have the same concern. Thanks, David.

Good for everything except doubles. I would add doubles to make it worth the money.

Thank you for splendid tennis score application. I used it at once. I report a refinement. As for the match of the Japanese youth, 1set and the match of eight games are dominant. I needed a tennis stat program so bad i wrote my own. Then I found tennis trakker. Awesome job. Made mine look like a rookie You solved many if the issues I couldnt figure out. Now that Im spoiled with your program, I concurr with previous comments for future versions. Shot placement, volley errors by forehand or backhand, and maybe the ability to have a desktop version that syncs with the iPhone. Also maybe a social networking component or maybe a facebook plugin to share info. Otherwise, it has taken the emotion out of watching my junior play and he is more aware of his shot selection. 4 gold stars!

This app is great. This app has allowed me to chart my college players matches and they love the statistical feedback. I would like to see an update to be able to choose location of winners, errors and serves. A must for all coaches and tennis parents. Well worth money! Look forward to updates.

Some bad moments

Ditto on many of the return of serve info. What this app needs to be the berries would be the "option" to have a court or service box layout with the ability to touch the screen for shot placement on serves with a location % or average, undo buttons too for the interuptions encountered by chatty social parents who need to say hello. This app is very useful and has great benefits for all players wanting the ins and outs of tennis. Thanks. Would have paid more for the touch screen shot placement and landscape ability!

Thought this would be good to help our daughter. Went ahead a paid the price. I have scored several matches and the stats dont show up at all. Nothing. The players names are mixed with some of the default pro names. :(. Ive spent an hour trying to get this to work. Im not a happy camper. I dont recommend this app. They need to fix bugs.

I started out liking the beginning this app had but it has not gotten better but has gotten worse. They have completely eliminated the ability to end a point with a forced error. The only way to end the point now is either thru an unforced error or a winner. It makes things very clear going in with the entry of the stats but it makes the reading of the summary to the players extremely skewed. They also have made a change to the serve allowing you to show where the service winners happened...except when it is an ace. When the serve is an ace you cannot denote where the ace occurred on the court. This program could be great and within the next 6 months other programs to record statistics will be online with the app store so they have to make this program better or it will go by the wayside.

App freezes all the time. Reinstalling app a cpl of times - still dont work. Tech Support cant help... Not worth the money

I should have done more homework before purchasing the most expensive app Ive bought. Got it to track my sons middle school tennis & couldnt believe it can not accommodate an 8 game super set. Please programmers, add the super set!!! Without it, app is useless to me and many middle school coaches and parents.

Very buggy when I record aces. Also freezes often when points are edited. UI could be cleaner and easier to navigate especially for the price I paid. Ultimately rated it as high as I have because it is the best app out there for what it does, I just wish they would update more often.
